SAVIGNY-LES-BEAUNE

Just north of Beaune, the Savigny-lès-Beaune appellation stretches across a verdant valley traversed by the Rhoin river. The vines, planted on sandy soils, benefit from East and North-East exposure, providing the wines a beautiful freshness and a natural elegance. This particular terroir allows Pinot Noir to express all its fineness through balanced and gourmet wines.

TERROIR & VINIFICATION

After a manual harvest and meticulous sorting, the winemaking takes place with care in our Beaune cellars. To preserve the purity of the fruit, only a third of the blend is aged in new barrels for 12 months. This method results in a wine that is both juicy and elegant, without excessive woodiness, revealing the full delicacy of the terroir.

FOOD & WINE PAIRINGS

Thanks to its volume and power, which is all about roundness, this wine pairs wonderfully with flavorful beef dishes, crispy roasted poultry, or tender veal roast. With cheeses, it pairs ideally with soft and mild cheeses, such as Chaource, Brie de Meaux, or Tomme. For a vegetarian option, it perfectly complements a zucchini and tomato quiche, highlighting the finesse of its aromas.

Ideal serving temperature: 15 °C.
