SANTENAY

The Santenay appellation, located in Burgundy, is renowned for its high-quality wines crafted from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes. The region’s unique soils, composed of gravel, marl, and limestone, impart the grapes with mineral richness and aromatic complexity. Wines from Santenay are distinguished by their balance and elegance, with fruit and floral notes unfolding into a long, persistent finish.

TERROIR & VINIFICATION

Benefiting from southeast exposure and a highly favorable microclimate, the grapes reach perfect maturity. The gravel, marl, and limestone soils provide structure and richness. Following a careful hand harvest and meticulous sorting to retain only the best fruit, the grapes are vinified and slowly matured in wooden casks in our Beaune cellar.

FOOD & WINE PAIRINGS

Santenay Blanc is a versatile wine that pairs beautifully with a wide range of dishes. It is particularly delicious alongside Bresse chicken fricassée in cream or grilled lobster. The wine also excels with fish, seafood, cheeses, and lighter fare.
