SANTENAY
Located to the south of the Côte de Beaune, the Santenay appellation is dominated by Mont de Sène, also known as Montagne des Trois Croix. This exceptional landscape, inhabited since prehistoric times, features south and southeast-facing slopes that benefit from optimal sunlight. This privileged climate allows Pinot Noir to develop beautiful maturity and intense aromatic expression.

TERROIR & VINIFICATION
Coming from a rich terroir bathed in light, this Santenay is vinified with precision in our cellars in Beaune. To preserve the subtlety of the grape variety and the intensity of the fruit, we chose not to age it in barrels. This approach maintains the freshness and aromatic purity of the wine, revealing the finesse of the Pinot Noir.

FOOD & WINE PAIRINGS
This Santenay pairs harmoniously with slow-cooked meats like braised veal or braised beef, as well as glazed or simply roasted poultry. For a vegetarian touch, it perfectly complements a potato puff pastry or a pumpkin tart. When it comes to cheese, it pairs ideally with soft-ripened cheeses such as Brie de Meaux, Pont-l’Évêque, Cîteaux, and Reblochon.
Ideal serving temperature: 15 °C.

TASTING NOTES
This wine displays a deep purple hue with black cherry reflections. Its floral and fruity bouquet evokes notes of peony and violet, accompanied by red fruits and a subtle hint of licorice. On the palate, the attack is intense, supported by a robust structure and firm tannins, which balance with a fine and elegant texture.
