RULLY

Located at the northern tip of the Côte Chalonnaise, the Rully AOC spans 350 hectares of vineyards shaped by Jurassic-era geological faults. At altitudes between 230 and 300 meters, Pinot Noir thrives in brown, limestone-rich soils with low clay content, endowing the wines with an elegance and freshness that rival the finest crus of neighboring Côte de Beaune.

TERROIR & VINIFICATION

To preserve the wine’s aromatic intensity and pure fruit character, vinification takes place with great care in our Beaune cellars, using stainless steel tanks. This approach ensures the freshness and vibrancy of the Pinot Noir, highlighting the variety’s fruity expression and the appellation’s inherent finesse.

FOOD & WINE PAIRINGS

This wine is the ideal companion for roast poultry or sauced dishes, such as coq au vin, as well as refined organ meats like liver, sweetbreads, and kidneys, whether prepared in sauce or simply pan-seared. It also pairs beautifully with pasta and risotto dishes—especially those with meat or poultry—for delicious and savory combinations.

Ideal serving temperature: 14 to 16 °C.

TASTING NOTES

This Rully Rouge displays a cherry ruby color with deep garnet highlights. Its expressive bouquet reveals aromas of black fruits (blackcurrant, blackberry) and red fruits (wild cherry), complemented by notes of licorice, lilac, and gentian. On the palate, freshness is dominant, with excellent length and well-integrated tannins, creating a perfect balance of supple texture and intensity.
