MONTHÉLIE
Located between Volnay and Auxey-Duresses, the Monthélie vineyard covers just 130 hectares, making this appellation a true hidden gem of the Côte de Beaune. Its vines, facing south and southeast on Bathonian limestone and clay-marl soils, benefit from an ideal terroir for Pinot Noir. Blending finesse and elegance, Monthélie stands out for its delicate and refined red wines.

TERROIR & VINIFICATION
The vines of Monthélie grow on soils rich in limestone and marl, giving the wine lovely minerality and a balanced structure. The traditional vinification, carried out with passion, showcases the fruit’s expression. Aged in barrels for several months, the wine’s tannins are refined, adding extra complexity while preserving the wine’s purity.

FOOD & WINE PAIRINGS
This wine pairs perfectly with meat pies, roasted poultry, and lamb. It also matches well with offal, such as grilled andouillettes, veal sweetbreads, or liver. On the cheese side, it enhances creamy soft cheeses, like Brillat-Savarin or Brie, for a harmonious tasting experience.
Ideal serving temperature: 16 to 18°C.

TASTING NOTES
This Monthélie displays a brilliant ruby color. Its powerful nose reveals aromas of cherry and blackcurrant, enriched with spicy, roasted coffee, and toasty notes. On the palate, its freshness and velvety texture delight, with fine and elegant tannins, expressing a feminine and refined wine.
