MONTAGNY 1ER CRU
VIGNES DU SOLEIL

The Montagny Appellation is produced across four small villages and is the southernmost appellation of the Côte Chalonnaise. Interestingly, it is more renowned in London or New York than in Paris. Montagny (AOC since 1936) covers 90 hectares of Village Appellation and 200 hectares classified as Premiers Crus, entirely dedicated to white wines where Chardonnay expresses itself superbly.

TERROIR & VINIFICATION

After being harvested by hand, the grapes are carefully sorted to retain only the best. The grapes are then transformed into wine and slowly matured in wooden barrels in our Beaune cellar.

FOOD & WINE PAIRINGS

This wine will delightfully accompany a river fish (such as zander fillet, fried fish) or sea fish (cod, julienne fillet, fish tartare). It truly shines when paired with fish dishes.

Serving temperature: 12 to 14°C.

TASTING NOTES

The nose is expressive, marked by mineral notes, white flowers, and citrus. On the palate, the wine is crisp, fruity, and above all elegant thanks to its minerality. This wine thus offers a beautiful balance, being both rich and charming.
