MERCUREY
Internationally recognized, the Mercurey appellation stands out among the great wines of Burgundy. Located in the Côte Chalonnaise, its vineyard flourishes between 230 and 320 meters of altitude, taking advantage of an east/southeast or even south-facing exposure, which promotes optimal ripening of the grapes. On marl-limestone soils, Chardonnay gives rise to elegant and expressive wines, combining freshness with aromatic complexity.

TERROIR & VINIFICATION
The vines of Mercurey benefit from a varied terroir that gives them a beautiful structure and characteristic minerality. After harvesting, the grapes are gently pressed in our cellars in Beaune. Fermentation and aging take place in oak barrels on lees for 12 months, bringing depth and aromatic subtlety to the wine while respecting the typicity of the terroir.

FOOD & WINE PAIRINGS
This wine is delightful as an aperitif and pairs beautifully with grilled or sauced fish, cooked seafood, or even a cuttlefish blanquette. It also goes well with roasted quail with fresh grapes and easily accompanies Asian dishes and hard cheeses, revealing all its aromatic finesse.
Ideal serving temperature: 11 to 13°C.

TASTING NOTES
