MERCUREY

Located in the heart of the Côte Chalonnaise, the Mercurey appellation dominates the surrounding areas at over 250 meters of altitude. Sheltered from damp winds by its slopes, this terroir offers ideal conditions for Pinot Noir, which thrives on stony and limestone soils. Renowned for its elegant and expressive red wines, the Mercurey appellation is one of the most famous in the Côte Chalonnaise.

TERROIR & VINIFICATION

This wine is vinified and aged with care in our cellars in Beaune, respecting the finesse and typical character of Pinot Noir. The combination of a terroir rich in hard limestone layers and a favorable climate allows for the production of structured wines that are delicately fruity, with very soft tannins.

FOOD & WINE PAIRINGS

This wine pairs perfectly with a charcuterie board, a chicken casserole with raspberry vinegar, or grilled pork chops. It also wonderfully complements soft and aged cheeses. For a vegetarian option, it will elevate a dish of mushroom lasagna, bringing a beautiful harmony of flavors.

Ideal serving temperature: 14 to 16°C.
