MARANGES
The Maranges vineyard marks the transition between Côte-d’Or and Saône-et-Loire, naturally extending that of Santenay, with which it shares several renowned crus. This still discreet appellation offers authentic and expressive red wines, true to the elegance of Pinot Noir and the richness of its terroir.

TERROIR & VINIFICATION
The soils of Maranges, composed of limestone and marl, allow Pinot Noir to develop intense aromas and a balanced structure. Thanks to careful vinification and suitable aging, this wine gains in roundness and complexity, while retaining a lovely freshness.

FOOD & WINE PAIRINGS
This wine brilliantly accompanies meat pies, roast poultry, and lamb. It also enhances offal such as grilled andouillettes, sweetbreads, or liver. As for cheeses, it pairs perfectly with soft creamy cheeses, such as brillat-savarin or brie, for a most refined tasting experience.
Ideal serving temperature: 16 to 18°C.

TASTING NOTES
This Maranges displays a brilliant ruby color with raspberry highlights. Its bouquet reveals an explosion of red and black fruit, ranging from blackcurrant bud to spiced and candied fruits. On the palate, the texture is silky and licorice-like, with a peppery frame and smooth, warm tannins, offering beautiful length.
