The story of Madame Veuve Point began with an extraordinary woman: Jeanne-Marie Point.
Visionary and daring, she founded our wine estate at a time when women were rarely recognized in the wine world.
Widowed at a young age, she took the reins of the estate with unwavering determination and a passion for winemaking that never faltered. Thanks to her innovative spirit and keen attention to detail, Jeanne-Marie laid the foundations for a tradition of excellence that still endures today. Her influence is felt in every bottle, every grape cluster, and every decision made on our estate.

Géraldine Point
Today, it is Géraldine Point, Jeanne-Marie’s great-great-granddaughter, who carries on the family legacy with the same passion and determination.
From childhood, Géraldine spent her summers among the vines, absorbing the secrets and know-how passed down through generations.
Armed with her studies in oenology and her international experience, she brings new energy to the estate while faithfully respecting the traditions set by her grandmother. Géraldine is an inspiring leader, driven by a clear vision: to produce wines of impeccable quality.
Under her leadership, Madame Veuve Point has solidified its reputation as a prestigious wine house, blending tradition and modernity.
In 2024, Géraldine was awarded the title of Chevalière de l’Ordre du Mérite Agricole, in recognition of her commitment to viticulture and the family legacy. This distinction honors her hard work and her contribution to the international reputation of Burgundy wines.
