GEVREY-CHAMBERTIN

TERROIR & VINIFICATION
In our cellars in Beaune, the grapes are vinified with precision, benefiting from 18 months of aging in oak barrels to enhance their richness without masking their natural expression. We ensure a perfect balance, allowing the wine to maintain all its natural magnificence, between power and finesse.

FOOD & WINE PAIRINGS
This wine pairs wonderfully with characterful dishes, such as a rib of beef, braised lamb, or feathered or furry game, complemented by a pumpkin purée with curry. More boldly, it can also match with pike-perch or tuna accompanied by a red wine sauce. On the cheese side, it pairs ideally with powerful cheeses, particularly Époisses and Chambertin, the local specialty.
Ideal serving temperature: 15 to 16 °C.

TASTING NOTES
This Gevrey-Chambertin displays a deep and intense garnet hue. Its complex nose combines notes of strawberry, blackberry, violet, stock rose, and rose, which evolve over time into a bouquet of liquorice, leather, and slightly animal notes. On the palate, it asserts itself as a great Burgundy, with a firm and full structure, dense yet silky tannins, and a beautiful length, where power and elegance come together perfectly.
