CHABLIS 1ER CRU
VAILLONS

Pale gold hue with brilliant reflections. The nose reveals intense aromas of white peach, juicy pear, and acacia flowers. On the palate, the texture is ample and refined, unveiling notes of lemon zest, fresh hazelnut, honey, and a touch of vanilla.

The richness of the fruit harmonizes with subtle minerality, leading to a long and elegant finish marked by nuances of flint and toasted almond. This Pouilly-Fuissé perfectly embodies the expression of the terroir with balance and depth.

TERROIR & VINIFICATION

Our “beloved” Pouilly-Fuissé, a true gem of the Madame Veuve Point range, embodies the excellence and expertise of the Point family. This vineyard, nestled at the foot of the majestic Roche de Solutré, is a source of pride and family heritage.

The grapes, carefully harvested at full ripeness, are quickly pressed to preserve all the freshness and purity of the aromas. The wine benefits from an initial aging on the lees, which gives it roundness and complexity, before being elevated by a passage in oak barrels in our Beaune cellars. This meticulous process imparts unparalleled elegance and depth.

FOOD & WINE PAIRINGS

Its mineral touch harmonizes perfectly with noble shellfish such as prawns, lobsters, and langoustines, as well as with cooked foie gras and sushi. It pairs wonderfully with veal, poultry in creamy sauces, and goat cheeses. This wine also goes well with spicy and aromatic exotic dishes, such as fish tagines or sweet and sour shrimp.

Serving temperature: between 11 and 13 °C.
