FRESHNESS & LIGHTNESS: OUR TOP WINE & FOOD PAIRINGS

FRESHNESS & LIGHTNESS: OUR TOP WINE & FOOD PAIRINGS Burgundy is a region renowned for its exceptional wines that embody elegance, finesse, and freshness. Whether you’re looking to pair a delicate dish or elevate the flavors of a meal, Burgundy’s wines – both white and red – are sure to meet your expectations. Today, we’re sharing our top pairing recommendations for those who crave lightness and freshness, exclusively featuring Burgundy’s finest wines. 1. Light Appetizers & Aperitifs: The Freshness of White Burgundy For a summer salad, a seafood tartare, or fresh canapés, the elegance of white Burgundy is your ideal match. Perfect match: A Chablis, with its white fruit aromas and minerality, pairs beautifully with a young leaf salad, salmon carpaccio, or oysters as an aperitif. Alternative: For goat cheese-based canapés or vegetable verrines, a wine like Bourgogne Aligoté is a light and crisp choice. 2. Fish & Seafood: The Distinction of White Burgundy White Burgundy wines showcase their nobility when paired with seafood, thanks to their freshness and complex aromatics. Perfect match: For grilled fish, John Dory, or langoustines, choose a Meursault or Puligny-Montrachet, which bring an elegant roundness and buttery notes, enhancing the dish’s delicacy. For simpler dishes: With steamed seafood or fish, a Pouilly-Fuissé, with its citrus and floral aromas, offers a subtle balance. 3. Poultry & Vegetarian Dishes Poultry and vegetarian dishes find their perfect match in Burgundy’s diverse range of wines. Whether it’s a delicately cooked chicken or a mushroom risotto, the wines harmonize finesse and structure. Perfect match: A Chassagne-Montrachet white, fine and ample, reveals the flavors of roasted chicken or herb-crusted veal fillet. Red wine? Consider a Bourgogne Pinot Noir with a vegetable risotto or mushroom dishes. Fruity and low in tannins, it respects the lightness of these dishes while adding depth. 4. Light Cheeses: Aromatic Richness to Discover   Burgundy is also known for elevating cheese platters, particularly those featuring goat cheese or young pressed cheeses (like young Comté). Perfect match: A Saint-Véran or Corton-Charlemagne white pairs delicately with fresh cheeses or a savory goat cheese tart 5. Light Desserts & Fruits: Sweetness & Freshness Light desserts featuring fresh fruits or creamy textures are ideally paired with sparkling wines or subtle white Burgundies. Perfect match: A Crémant de Bourgogne, fresh and sparkling, is the preferred choice to accompany citrus desserts or red fruit salads. Gourmand alternative: For an apple or pear tart, opt for an elegant and fruity Bourgogne Chardonnay. Why Choose Burgundy Wines for Freshness & Lightness? Burgundy wines are renowned for their ability to combine finesse, elegance, and balance. Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays, the region’s emblematic grapes, offer a range of aromas and textures that elevate both refined and simple dishes. With their natural acidity, they’re perfectly suited for fresh pairings that delight the palate without overpowering it. Conclusion With their diversity and natural elegance, Burgundy wines are the ideal companions for pairings that celebrate freshness and lightness. Whether you’re serving a simple or elaborate meal, iconic wines like Chablis, Meursault, or Pinot Noir will always elevate your gastronomic experience. Let yourself be seduced by the timeless elegance of Burgundy and enjoy a meal where food and wine unite to reveal the best of flavors. Ready to awaken your taste buds and impress your guests with a glass of Burgundy? Cheers! WHERE TRADITION MEETS CRAFTSMANSHIP

WHERE TRADITION MEETS CRAFTSMANSHIP To commemorate the dual anniversary of Rolls-Royce’s 120th birthday and the 120th anniversary of Madame Veuve Point’s Pouilly-Fuissé wine winning the Grand Prize at the 1904 St. Louis World’s Fair, a partnership of great elegance is born between the Rolls-Royce Enthusiasts’ Club and Madame Veuve Point.   This partnership also coincides with the celebration of Rolls-Royce’s first electric car.   A Legacy of Passion and Excellence Madame Veuve Point, the great-great-grandmother of current director Géraldine Point, began her remarkable journey at the age of 26, after being widowed with a 4-year-old son. Determined to fulfill her promise to educate her child and preserve the family legacy, she continued working at the estate. Her first vintage, presented at the 1904 World’s Fair in St. Louis, was awarded the Grand Prize, marking the beginning of an unprecedented success story.   Today, Géraldine Point, a worthy descendant of Madame Veuve Point, continues this exceptional legacy with passion. She strives to highlight the Maison, whose wines are renowned worldwide through word of mouth.   Since the 2015 vintage, Madame Veuve Point has expanded its reach by using grapes from family plots and developing partnerships with grape suppliers across 35 Burgundy appellations.   The wines, carefully crafted by teams based in Beaune, have conquered palates around the world and are now marketed in over 25 countries, primarily in the restaurant and gastronomy sectors.   The prestigious Grand Cordon d’Or, awarded to Géraldine Point in late 2023 by the Confrérie de la Haute Gastronomie Franco-Monégasque under the presidency of HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco, testifies to the excellence and refinement of Madame Veuve Point’s wines.   The International Sommelier Association’s General Assembly, held on March 25, 2024, in Monaco, brought together the most renowned personalities in the wine world.   During this exceptional dinner, our Pouilly-Fuissé wine won over all the guests with its finesse, balance, and complexity. Serge Dubs, a French sommelier and 1989 World’s Best Sommelier, delivered a glowing speech, recognizing a “great wine” and praising the exceptional quality of this Pouilly-Fuissé. An Elite Partnership with the Rolls-Royce Enthusiasts’ Club   It is in this context of history and distinction that the partnership between Madame Veuve Point wines and the Rolls-Royce Enthusiasts’ Club is forged.   To mark Rolls-Royce’s 120th anniversary, this agreement symbolizes the alliance between two exceptional universes, where craftsmanship, prestige, and passion come together to create an unforgettable experience.   In this year marked by the celebrations of Madame Veuve Point’s 120-year diploma, this partnership takes on a particularly significant meaning, offering a unique opportunity to celebrate excellence, heritage, and the future together. CELEBRATING AGRICULTURAL HERITAGE

Celebrating Agricultural Heritage I was deeply honored and moved to receive the distinction of Knight of the Order of Agricultural Merit, presented by Madame Fabienne Buccio, Prefect of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. Beyond my personal recognition, this distinction celebrates the commitment of all those who work with passion to preserve and enhance our agricultural heritage. During this beautiful ceremony, winemakers, restaurateurs, trainers, and animal welfare advocates were also honored, illustrating the richness and diversity of French agriculture. A Commitment Rooted in the Terroir I have always been dedicated to promoting the vineyards and winemaking expertise. As ambassador and director of Maison Madame Veuve Point, founded by my ancestor, I am passionate about defending the Burgundian terroir, a true gem where tradition and innovation meet to showcase our heritage beyond our borders. Furthermore, as client director for GVS Group, my role allows me to share my passion for wine with enthusiasts and introduce them to the terroirs of various French wine regions. This mission is close to my heart, as each region has its story, character, and unique characteristics to share. A Collective Distinction I share this recognition with all those who, every day, contribute to the vitality and excellence of our lands. Winemakers, artisans, farmers, restaurateurs, and wine and terroir enthusiasts: together, we bring this beautiful family and collective adventure to life. Receiving this distinction is a source of pride, but it is also a renewed commitment to continue defending, promoting, and transmitting the values and richness of our agriculture. Thank you to everyone for your support and passion, which bring our terroir to life!
