ALOXE-CORTON

Originating from the prestigious terroirs of the Colline de Corton, this wine draws its character from a unique environment. Nestled between 200 and 300 meters in altitude, the vines thrive on reddish-brown soils rich in flint and limestone debris, locally known as “chaillots”. Naturally abundant in potassium and phosphoric acid, these soils impart complexity, structure, and depth to the wines.

TERROIR & VINIFICATION

The grapes are hand-harvested, ensuring a meticulous selection of the finest bunches. Vinification is carried out with particular care to preserve the purity of the fruit. The wine is then aged for 12 to 18 months in barrels in our cellars in Beaune—a period in oak that refines its tannins and enriches its aromatic palette, all while respecting the identity of the terroir.

FOOD & WINE PAIRINGS

This wine pairs elegantly with both traditional and refined dishes. It enhances poached eggs with red wine sauce, a vegetable tian, a beef steak, or even grilled pork ribs. Its balance and depth also make it an excellent companion for confit duck or a selection of aged cheeses.
